September 2010 - The Autodesk Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk Navisworks 2011

The Autodesk® Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk® Navisworks® 2011 software extends the capabilities of Autodesk® Navisworks® Manage 2011 and Autodesk® Navisworks® Simulate 2011 software. New avatars, appearance profiler add-in, and interoperability with the most current file formats help to improve communication and integration across project teams.

Key features include:

• New avatars—Select from an extended range of third-person avatars to better explore project models and communicate stakeholder perspectives.
• Appearance profiler add-in—Override the appearance of multiple/all objects within the model based on user-defined classifications. Color-code property information to differentiate system types and visually identify status.
• Existing applications and formats—Keep workflows current with support for Primavera P6 v7, Google™ SketchUp™ v7, and Autodesk® Inventor® products.
• New format­—Improve object quality and access to property information through direct file support with PTC’s Pro/ENGINEER® parametric file format.

The Autodesk® Subscription Advantage Pack for Autodesk® Navisworks® 2010 extends the capabilities of Autodesk® Navisworks® 2010 software in the areas of interoperability, productivity, and file distribution.

General Enhancements (Autodesk FBX File Format Support and Batch Processing Utility) Support for the Autodesk® FBX® file format improves interoperability between Navisworks 2010 and other Autodesk products, while a new batch processing utility offers improved productivity for existing Navisworks users.

NWC Export Utility Enable Navisworks project teams to generate whole-project models for simulation and analysis with a distributable NWC Export Utility.

November 2008 - 2004 DWG Object Enabler Extension for Autodesk NavisWorks 2009.1 software

Autodesk® NavisWorks® Manage 2009, Autodesk® NavisWorks® Simulate 2009 and Autodesk® NavisWorks® Review 2009 did not include support for 2004 DWG™ object enablers. Having received feedback from our customers, we are aware that this caused problems for users working with older versions of AutoCAD®. This extension will address object enabler compatibility issues for DWGs created in AutoCAD® 2004, 2005 and 2006.
